1) Scope

This policy covers paid plans/subscriptions on BugBreeders.com (“BugBreeders”, “we”, “us”). It does not cover any off-platform transactions between users (we are not a party to those).

2) Plan term & renewals

  • The plan is renewed each year manually.

3) EU right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you have a 14-day withdrawal right from the purchase date.
How to exercise: Contact us with your account email, invoice number and “Withdrawal request”.

Effects: we will refund all subscription fees received for that order within 14 days via the original payment method.

4) Immediate access & waiver (digital services)

If you choose immediate access to premium features upon purchase and explicitly consent to start the service, you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day withdrawal right once full performance begins (Art. 16/m EU Consumer Rights Directive).
We show this consent at checkout with a checkbox.

5) Cancellations & refunds after 14 days

  • You may turn off renew anytime; no pro-rata refunds for the remaining period unless required by law.

  • If we permanently discontinue the Service during your active period, we may offer a pro-rata refund at our discretion.

6) Failed payments & chargebacks

  • We may suspend premium features if a renewal payment fails until resolved.

  • If you open an unfounded chargeback, we may suspend your account and listings.

7) Abuse & policy violations

Refunds are not granted where the account was suspended for serious or repeated violations of our Terms, Content & Listing Rules, or Prohibited Items & Animal Welfare Policy.
