BugBreeders.com (“BugBreeders”, “we”, “us”) is an online classifieds platform for users to post and browse listings related to invertebrates and associated supplies.

2) Acceptance & changes

By using BugBreeders you agree to these Terms. We may update them by posting a new date above. Continued use means acceptance.

3) Accounts & eligibility

  • You must be 18+ and provide accurate information.

  • Keep credentials secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account.

  • We may suspend/terminate accounts for violations or risk.

4) Plans, pricing & renewals

  • See Pricing/Plans for current features (e.g., annual subscription for [unlimited / X] listings).

  • Optional auto-renewal if enabled in your account.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the period end. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy (if applicable).

5) Our intermediary role

  • Listings are user-generated content. We don’t guarantee availability, quality, legality, authenticity, or fitness for a particular purpose.

  • Payments and shipping occur outside BugBreeders, solely between users.

6) Listing rules & prohibited items

You must follow our Content & Listing Rules and Prohibited Items & Animal Welfare Policy. We may edit, de-rank, or remove content, and suspend accounts where necessary.

7) Moderation, notices & appeals (DSA)

  • You can report content from each listing page.

  • If we remove content, we will issue a Statement of Reasons (DSA).

  • An internal complaint/appeal channel is available in your account.

8) Recommender system & ranking

Listing order may consider factors like date, relevance, user-selected filters, distance (if enabled), and/or paid featured placements. See Recommender & Ranking Info for details.

9) User responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable laws and permits (e.g., wildlife, transport).

  • Don’t infringe others’ rights (IP, privacy), don’t spam, and don’t post misleading or dangerous content.

  • You are solely responsible for your interactions and transactions.

10) Intellectual property

We own the Site’s software, interface, and branding. You retain rights to your content, granting us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it for platform operation and promotion.

11) Third-party services

We use external providers (hosting, analytics, email, etc.). We’re not responsible for third-party terms or actions.

12) Disclaimers & liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties and limit liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, use of the Service, or violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

14) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary (e.g., legal risk, repeated violations). You may delete your account at any time.

15) Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain (without conflict rules). Courts of [Elche, Spain] shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
